our manager!
Carla
Boardman Padrón works
in the background to handle Wild Rice bookings, paperwork, press
kits, webmastering, e-mails, and just about anything else the guys
can think of. She's a musician in her own right, and also plays
in and manages a string quartet. Her strong interest in jazz has
made her a great fan of Wild Rice, and band leader Daniel Padrón
(whom she married in summer 2004) has managed to turn her into a
jazz violinist as well. The result is the formation of a violin
- piano jazz duet called The Obsidian Duo.
